1. Scope & Applicability
These Payment Terms govern all commercial transactions, software license purchases, subscriptions, and digital product acquisitions made through AfriBa Labs (afribalabs.com) and associated distribution channels. By completing a commercial order, you agree to these terms alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Currency & Pricing
All prices displayed on AfriBa Labs are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. If you purchase using an international payment card denominated in another currency, your bank or payment provider will calculate the applicable foreign exchange rate and any foreign transaction fees.
3. Payment Processing & Security
AfriBa Labs does not store, transmit, or process raw credit card numbers or banking credentials on our web servers. Commercial transactions are securely processed through industry-certified, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant Merchant of Record (MoR) and payment gateway partners (such as Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Google Play).
All payment data transmissions are protected via end-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption.
4. Sales Tax, VAT & Digital Invoicing
Depending on your jurisdiction, sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or goods and services tax (GST) may be assessed on digital software purchases in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Applicable taxes are clearly calculated and displayed before payment confirmation.
- An electronic invoice containing tax breakdown and vendor VAT IDs is automatically dispatched to the customer's email upon successful payment.
- Business customers with valid tax exemptions or reverse-charge VAT numbers may enter their identification during checkout.
5. Order Confirmation & Delivery
A payment is deemed complete when our merchant gateway validates the transaction and issues an authorized confirmation token. Upon completion:
- Digital license keys and download links are provisioned instantly or delivered via email.
- You will receive an official digital receipt with an Order Reference Number.
- If your payment encounters a processing delay or fraud review, access will be granted immediately upon clearance.
6. Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution
If you experience an unrecognized charge or billing discrepancy, we ask that you contact our engineering support team at support@afribalabs.com prior to filing an informal bank chargeback. We are committed to resolving legitimate errors promptly and cordially.
