1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the AfriBa Labs website (afribalabs.com), using our web-based tools (including ToolNest at toolnest.afribalabs.com), or downloading and using applications developed by AfriBa Labs (such as Fuel Pilot), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our related commercial and privacy policies.

2. Nature of Software & Utility Purpose

AfriBa Labs products are engineered as practical utility software. Fuel computations, mileage logs, expense trends, and developer utility outputs (such as JSON parsing, formatters, and hashing) are generated from inputs and algorithms provided as-is. They are intended for personal tracking, developer productivity, and utility workflows, and should not be relied upon as certified automotive engineering diagnostics, financial audits, or formal legal documentation.

3. Data Ownership & Offline Backups

Because our mobile applications (like Fuel Pilot) operate offline with local device storage (SQLite), you maintain full ownership of your records. You are solely responsible for creating and retaining your own data backups (via built-in portable JSON backups or CSV exports). AfriBa Labs does not operate central cloud databases for vehicle logs and cannot recover records if your physical device is damaged, reset, or lost.

4. Third-Party Distribution & Platforms

Certain AfriBa Labs products are distributed through third-party platforms, such as the Google Play Store. Your installation, updates, and store-level transactions for those applications are governed additionally by the terms of the respective platform operator.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, product names, brand assets, user interfaces, documentation, and source code associated with AfriBa Labs, ToolNest, and Fuel Pilot are the intellectual property of AfriBa Labs. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the proprietary binaries without express written authorization.

6. Commercial Policies

Commercial and financial relationships are governed by our specific commercial policy documents:

• Refund Policy: Outlines refund guidelines for direct products and third-party stores (Google Play).
• Payment Policy: Explains current payment arrangements, third-party distribution, and future hosted checkout security.
• Cookie Policy: Documents advertising and technical browser storage.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

AfriBa Labs software is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In no event shall AfriBa Labs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our software or websites.
