Fuel Pilot Privacy Policy

All vehicle profiles (make, model, year, license plate, fuel type, tank capacity), refueling history, odometer readings, fuel costs, station names, and custom notes are stored locally on your device in a sandboxed SQLite database (fuelpilot.sqlite). Fuel Pilot operates without remote user accounts, cloud databases, or proprietary servers.

Fuel Pilot provides user-controlled export and restore functionality (.fpb JSON portable backups and RFC-4180 CSV spreadsheet files). When enabled by the user in Android device settings, system Auto Backup may preserve app data and settings to user-authorized Google Drive storage.

Fuel Pilot does not require you to provide personal credentials. We strictly do not collect, transmit, or monetize any of the following:

• Personal Identifiers: No name, email address, phone number, physical address, or passwords.
• Financial Information: Refueling costs and fuel prices remain strictly on your local device. We never request bank details or payment credentials.
• Physical GPS Location: Fuel Pilot does not request or access GPS permissions.
• Photos & Files: If you attach a receipt image, the file reference stays solely in your device's sandboxed local storage; photos are never uploaded or transmitted off-device.
• Contacts & Documents: Zero access to your address book, files, or messages.

To maintain Fuel Pilot as a free application, we integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), IP address, and app interaction telemetry to serve non-intrusive advertisements in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

In jurisdictions where applicable (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and regions with explicit consent laws), Fuel Pilot integrates Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK.

This mechanism prompts users with an explicit consent dialogue, providing full granular control to grant or withdraw permission for personalized versus non-personalized advertising.

You maintain absolute control over all data created inside Fuel Pilot:

• User-Controlled Export: Export your data anytime in .fpb JSON or RFC-4180 CSV format via Settings → Data Management.
• In-App Deletion: Permanently erase all vehicle and refueling records directly inside the app via Settings → Data Management → Clear All Local Data.
• Android System Storage Reset: Erasing app storage via Android Settings → Apps → Fuel Pilot → Storage → Clear Data immediately destroys all local databases.
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the application deletes all local database tables and cached receipt images from your device.

Fuel Pilot is a vehicular fuel logging and expense tracking utility designed for vehicle owners and licensed drivers aged 18 and older. It does not solicit, target, or knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age.

All external network interactions initiated by background SDKs (Google Play In-App Updates and Google Mobile Ads) utilize encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections in transit.
